The doorjamb continued buckling inward on the door. A blue liquid seeped into the room like a spill. The solution began to pool by the door.
“Definitely no more drugs for me, homes”.
The liquid fanned itself flat and began to bubble. The liquid solidified into a transparent blue claw.
The claw raised itself towards Estavez with five sharp-looking fingers.
Candy Man opened fire and the bullets sloshed through the appendage and smacked into the steel door. The slugs fell to the floor.
More fluid pumped itself into the room into the growing blue spot. The claw grew bigger.
Rico dove into the tunnel. His heart was slamming into his chest and he was sorry he did the ice. He stumbled down the steps and yanked the spring lever that crashed the escape hatch behind him with a “boiiing” sound.
