When some of the junkies got too whack-o, it was Black Angus who took care of them. It was Black Angus who helped Rico torture the Hawaiians that tried to come in and take over his territory. Angus was a righteous homeboy.

“And you are lettin’ him die?” he asked himself out loud.

Well, homeboy or not, business is business.

“Check supplies, dude,” he muttered to himself.

Got the bullets. Got the band-aids. Paper supplies all present and accounted for: t.p., seat covers for those junkies who had hep and God Knows what else.

Mars bars. Water bottles.

Black Angus lurched.

Rico was glad that there weren’t any microphones in the room. Fluids seemed to seep out of the dead man’s body like he had sprung leaks.
